Training Assessment
Before completing this Assessment please download, read and learn the content of the Training Resources provided for you. The questions in the Assessment are based on this content. Getting the pass rate required to be offered a MedicAlert Certificate of Achievement is achievable for those who learn the content.
MedicAlert Workplace Health and Safety Assessment
Anyone can complete this Training Assessment. We want to give you the knowledge and confidence to know what to do when an accident or medical emergency occurs, so you can help save a life or protect someone from harm. No charge applies for completing or re-sitting the assessment.
Passing the Assessment
Successful completion is achieved with a 70% pass rate. This may sound difficult, however the information you need is included in the training resources provided, you can do it.
Your Certificate
When you achieve a 70% pass rate, you will be offered the opportunity to order your Certificate.
Certificates are valid for 5 years.
A fee is charged to register, produce and issue your certificate.
Re-sit any time
If need be, you can re-sit the assessment at any time. This training assessment is open to everyone in our community. Questions presented in each Assessment may change.
We want you to be successful.
Be prepared to register your Certificate.
You will need your Health New Zealand (Te Whatu Ora) ‘My Health Account’ Login set up and ready to use, to Register and Pay for your Certificate. Certificates are registered using your name on your ‘My Health Account’. Certificates contain an Verification Code [generated in MACM] , which is used to authenticate that your certificate is genuine.
If you do not yet have a ‘My Health Account’ Login, we recommend you set this up first, before completing the Assessment.

Certificate Pricing
A fee applies to have the Certificate registered and produced, with payment via credit card.
Digital Certificate
Select this option to receive your certificate by email to save and print yourself.
Printed Certificate
Select this option to receive your printed certificate by Track and Trace Courier, we will also send you a copy via email.
